I'm so sorry hearing of Dianna's passing.  She and I worked at the Safeway bakery together for a summer after we graduated.  She was always so much fun and had the most positive attitude about everything.  She could easily laugh at herself too.  Our paths crossed a number of times as we moved away from the Tri-Cities, and it was always such a pleasure to see her smiling face.  She joined my aerobic dance class in Coeurd'Alene, and I thoroughly enjoyed having her there.  I will always have fond memories when I think of her.

Dianna and I became inseparable friends in our Sophmore year of High School.  Dianna was genuine through and through.  She and Rich had a one-of-a-kind marriage.  They were truly in love for more than 55 years.  Through the years we have met from time to time and toward the last pretty much on a weekly basis we spoke on the phone.  When I got news that she was gone, I felt such loss, but yet relieved that she was no longer suffering.

In High School, we had so much fun.  We were always doing something crazy, but still legal??  I just loved being with her.  She made me laugh, but could be serious when needed.  After living in Northern California for a couple of years, my husband and our 4-month old daughter and I moved back here.  The first thing we did was get together and introduce our husbands. They are still friends today.  She and Rich moved to Lewiston ID.  We would go for the weekend and visit.  The guys would go fishing.  Oh how they loved to fish.  When they got home they would parade down main street so everyone could see their big fish. Dianna and Rich owned a beautiful women's clothing store on main street in Lewiston.  So, in the evening, Dianna and I would grab our pop and go to their store, and I would go shopping!!  Those were the days.

Well, Dianna, Good and Faithful Friend, I love and miss you, but will see you again some day.  You have left such a void here, but bet you are keeping everyone in stiches up there!  I pray blessings and peace over you and your family here, In Jesus' Name.  Amen. Your Friend Always, Shellie

It was in Mr. Perault's (sp?) 6th grade class at Emerson elementary school that I encountered my first crush - a pretty little blue eyed brunette, Dianna Womack. Even though I was the usual knuckle headed 11 year old boy she was always nice to me up through our sophomore year a PHS. My family then moved to Arizona. In high school in Arizona I met and eventually married Rose O'Brien - a pretty little blue eyed brunette. It seems that first crush had a bigger influence on me than I realized. RIP Dianna.   Dave Anderson
