I moved to Alaska in 1982. Never thought I would still be in Alaska 31 years later, but I have three grandchildren and would hate to move away from them. My children both live in Alaska so it's great to be close to my family.
I retired at the end of 2012 and we have become snowbirds, spending winters at Indio, CA., where we have our winter home. Summers we spend in North Pole, AK and enjoy the long summer days.
