PATRICIA LANSING OBITUARY

Patricia Mary Lansing
July 24, 1946 - March 10, 2023
Pasco, Washington - Patricia (Patty) M. Lansing, 76, of Pasco, Washington reunited with her beloved husband, Craig for all eternity March 10, 2023. Patty was born to Marie and James Bucklin II on July 24, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska, the eldest of five children.
Patty spent her early years in Omaha, close to her mother's family, moving to Pasco in 1953, living in the Navy homes, while the family home was being built on what is now North 17th Ave. Her father's work took the family for a brief period of time to Santa Barbara, California in 1954, returning to the family home in 1956. Patty graduated from Pasco High School in 1964, participating in a variety of activities, including being a social butterfly.
Patty met the love of her life, Craig, in 1963, when she spotted him across the room at "The Social Club" and decided to go over and sit in his lap. The happy couple celebrated 58 years of bliss on August 1, 2022. Patty and Craig were blessed with two children, Shane and Stephane, seven grandchildren, and she was expecting her first great-grandchild in June.
Craig's military career took them all across the world, where Patty worked in sales for some of the finest cosmetic and boutique clothing shops. While Craig was in Vietnam, Patty served as the 1968 Tri-City Raceway Trophy Girl. In her thirties, Patty became an administrative assistant, working in Germany and later, Hanford, until retirement. During Craig's time in the military, Patty relished the role of an officer's wife, often coordinating events for the families and hosting parties.
Patty was very creative and enjoyed many hobbies over the course of her life - including oil and tole painting, macrame, gardening, herbs, essential oils, craft shows, and home decor. Patty had a keen eye and talent for decor and loved to decorate for all the holidays. Patty was known as the party planner for the family as she always hosted large holiday birthday parties for Craig and summer parties for her shared birthday with Shane and Zoyie. Patty never celebrated a birthday alone after 26 years of age.
Of all the hats Patty wore, she cherished most, that of mother and wife. Patty always supported her children and grandchildren to the best of her abilities and could be counted on to jump in and help in any way necessary.
Patty is survived by son, Shane and wife Lisa, daughter, Stephane and husband Scott Szendre, grandchildren Zoyie, Christina, Noah, Madison, Caleb, Rebekah, Luke and soon to be great-grandchild. Additionally, she is survived by sisters Kathe Braden, Mary Imhoff, SIL Nancy Bucklin brother Steve Bucklin and wife Elisa, brother in law Dean Lansing and wife Carol , sister in law Rosalie Haag and husband Chuck as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Marie Bucklin, in-laws Chuck and Billie Jean Lansing, and brother-in-law's James Bucklin III (Butch) and Dana Braden.
Patty's life will be remembered at 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 23, 2023 at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S Union St in Kennewick, WA. Reception to follow at Highlands Grange Building in Kennewick WA.

Stunned by the news. Always enjoyed Patty's friendly outlook and visits especially after working with Steve at one of my nursing homes in Shoreline. Very sad because her warm greetings were one of my favorite looking forward to moments from reunions.
